Founding Full-Stack Software Engineer

Company Overview

At Arlo, we believe good health insurance does not have to break the bank. We are revolutionizing health insurance for small and medium-sized employers by offering affordable plans that are up to 20% cheaper than the incumbents (United, Cigna, etc). We empower low-income earners with better insurance options and provide them with exceptional support throughout their healthcare journeys. By making high-value care options more easily accessible, we lower premiums, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket costs.

Our founders have extensive experience building modern, user-friendly interfaces on top of slow-moving incumbents and legacy infrastructure - working on claims analytics at Palantir and McKinsey, and benefits administration systems at a Y-Combinator startup. We raised a $4M seed round from Upfront Ventures, 8VC, and General Catalyst, and are now looking to grow our team!

Transforming health insurance is a tough battle - but the mission of bringing affordable health care is worth fighting for. We are hard-working, team-oriented, value diverse opinions and debate, and hire for a hands-on mentality.
